Founded in Athens in 2012 by designer Nadia Rapti, NADIA RAPTI began with a strong interest in clothes that could feel personal without being complicated. From the beginning, Nadia’s approach has been about strong, recognisable pieces that can be worn in different ways. The collections are driven by shape, proportion and the contrast between different elements, with the intention of making clothes that feel distinctive without telling you exactly how to wear them.
The collections have always been about mixing different elements. Tailoring can be sharp or oversized, feminine pieces can take on a more masculine attitude, and something simple can change completely through styling. Black and white have become part of that language too. A constant contrast that gives the collections their graphic character. Today, the same approach runs through both womenswear and menswear. The clothes are different, but the design language is shared: strong shapes, clean lines, considered details and a certain freedom in how everything comes together.
The brand is designed and produced in Greece. We work closely with fabrics, prints, proportions and construction, because these are the things that make the difference once a piece is actually worn. We are less interested in making clothes for a specific occasion and more interested in making clothes that can follow you through different ones, and still feel right.
After more than a decade, NADIA RAPTI continues to evolve without losing what made it recognisable in the first place. The name stays the same. The clothes keep changing. Black and white remain a constant, while every collection finds its own way to challenge what comes next.
